We can all agree water is our most precious resource, but when the only water you have contains dangerous microbes, this life source can quickly turn deadly.
Our first project began in Jinja, Uganda, located in eastern Africa and quickly expanded to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Rita where we delivered multiple small handheld units, some family units, and two large Community Water Filtration systems to people in need on the mainland and at the Vieques Boys & Girls Club.
We've chosen to purchase and donate LifeStraw products as a means to provide clean water to communities in desperate need. The LifeStraw Community water filtration system provides an immediate relief to communities as they await a permanent well to be dug.
The water filtration systems cost just under $400 each and can be an awesome way for school kids to gift a community system for other children in need.
